Apartaments Independencia

I stayed at this apartment for 3 nights for a city break, on the 3rd floor. The location of this apartment building is very convenient for wanting to travel around Barcelona, with Encants or Clot metro stations a short walk away. 15 minutes walk from Sagrada Família too. It’s a very quiet building, I didn’t bump into anyone on the stairs or corridors. Value - you get what you pay for. Simple rooms, simple facilities although with fridge and dishwasher (if you’re wondering if you’re short on cups and dishes on arrival, check the dishwasher). Our apartment was mostly clean, besides some hairs on the sofa and cups that could have been more clean, so we bought some cheap washing up liquid from a nearby Lidl. Noise - If you don’t sleep well, I recommend ear plugs if you’re in the bed close to the road (ambulances and motorbikes are so loud) but if you’re in the back bedroom, it’s much quieter. I could hear a TV in the room above until 11pm ish, but didn’t stop me sleeping. All in all, it did the job for us, as we were out of the apartment from morning until night. Checking in - So you want to go to apartment building 297 to register on their touch screen system (ID required), this is where you’ll get your room key card. Then if your room is in apartment building 287 you will go back a little down the road and stay in there, it’s accessible with your room key card. I have given my review 3 stars purely because it’s not luxury, it can be noisy on the roads at night, but it wasn’t a bad stay.

Absolutely terrible my card wouldn’t work for electricity and they kept giving me cards that wouldn’t work had to leave 7 hours before my flight won’t be back
