I stayed in the apartment the last week of July 2026 with my daughter and her husband and my three grandchildren. The only good thing I can say about the apartment is that it was in a nice neighborhood. We were told before we booked that there was some construction going on… It was very downplayed… Maybe a little painting or touchup work… Instead, we had jackhammers at 7:30 AM, an entry hall from the street that was crowded with construction materials and barely passable. Our two main complaints, though were about the electricity and the bathrooms. The main breaker turned the electricity off every hour or two, even through the night. All the lights would go out. The air conditioning would go out, and we would have to find our way to the breaker box and flip the switch. The other major problem was the bathrooms. They are a lawsuit, waiting to happen. You can’t tell from the photographs, but there is a step going down from each of the showers. The step is the same slippery tile as the bathroom floor. There is no grab bar. The doors to the shower only open about a foot, so unless you are a small child, you have to turn sideways to step down onto the step and then onto the floor. It was very unsafe. It was very poorly engineered. We wound up putting towels on the floor to give some traction. We would have to step sideways and hold onto the top of the toilet to get safely out of the shower. This is very unacceptable in a public apartment like this! I would never advise anyone to stay here.

We rented the great 5 bedroom apartment which is beautiful and very comfortable, quality bedding, ideally located in the Eixample, very well equipped, and a very nice decoration, really perfect for 10 people, excellent value for money and a superb address to discover Barcelona!

Overall perfect for the period and purpose of our stay: + good location near both metro Urquinoana and Arc de Triomf, close to Barceloneta and Placa Catalunya + Not oversized but big enough for a city trip with 3/4 people - Lift is barely take with luggage (2 adult persons + 1 suitcase was already not possible) - we stayed on the top floor, elevator stopped 1 floor below. For us no real problem, but to take into account if one is more difficult to walk - In the morning, the 3rd person who took a shower might get the surprise of only having cold water available... - Little mold formation in the corners of ceiling in the bathroom
