First time to Barcelona in Spain. Hotels in this city are more expensive than in many European countries. Book this hotel because it's affordable and close to meeting venues and Metro. After check-in, we noticed that the hotel was well served, the staff was helpful and the rooms were clean.

It was absolutely outrageous! At 8:50 in the morning, the door of our room was suddenly opened. We were still sleeping. This was truly terrifying. It seemed to be a routine cleaning by the hotel, but I had no idea why it was done so early. We could hear the cleaning sounds from other rooms, which were very noisy and prevented us from being able to sleep any further. Furthermore, we arrived at the hotel at 12 noon and wanted to check in. However, the hotel informed us that we couldn't proceed with the check-in as the time wasn't yet up. We thought the rooms hadn't been prepared yet, so we stored our luggage. At 1:30 pm, we returned and were still not allowed to check in. We had to wait until 2 pm. Even at 1:55 pm, they still wouldn't allow us to check in. If they had finished cleaning the rooms so early, there should have been available rooms by then. Why didn't they give us the advance notice? 一大早被非法闯入，被其他房间收拾声音吵的不能休息，有房间不给提前办理入住！

The hotel beware. Small and between homes, but quiet. Don't expect sights, I didn't like that, I didn't expect it. Friendly staff and well maintained facilities.
