Barcelona City Centre Hostal

Bad experience. I hired a triple room, for 3 adults. I paid as such and they gave me a posilga for two and incorporated an additional bed extension of the double bed. Where there was no room to pass, no room to carry a suitcase. Even to open the window you had to stand in bed. The bathroom door wouldn't close and the light was burned. Nobody gives you a solution and you must speak by direct booking message without any response. An embarrassment, to the point where I had to go and rent somewhere else.

It's two apartments turned into a hotel. Small sound rooms and very fine partitions. You can hear everything the neighbors say. There are hot water problems. The floor is cold and in winter there is no radiator, and the rooms remain cold. For the price, it is not worth visiting Barcelona. Maybe for one night, no more.

Three of us stayed in this hotel. Three, it’s never very easy to find a room in Barcelona. Usually it's 2 bedrooms and it's much more expensive. Here city center Hostal everything starts with SMS and WhatsApp exchanges but what is quite reassuring is that these messages are very responsive and we obtained all the information we wanted. When we arrive at the door we have a little link on our phone and we hope that the doors will open 😳 at 11:00 p.m. we are not reassured. Finally 1, 2 3 doors and the right sesame we arrive in the room, clean, decent bedding, bathroom not grandiose but clean and functional with cold water and hot water (or even very hot!). Sockets to charge the phone to open the door😅. There is a small coffee area to share with the other rooms. The hotel is quite noisy but we were lucky to have well-behaved neighbors. Central parking is expensive, more than €25 per night, but hey, it’s Barcelona! Finally, we spent 2 good nights, that's the main thing and therefore the value for money is interesting.
