Worst experience ever ! This is auto checkin apartment hotel . Digital card machine does not work but still make us check in. Wait for 1 Hour for a rude cleaning lady to give us room key but no parking key nor main building key.
Have to wait under the rain for 2 hours and almost slept in the car. No night service ! No one cares !!!
It is a total desastre and won’t recommend anyone to come

Lovely little 2 bed and 2 bath room apartment. Kitchen had everything we wanted and needed. Local shops and restaurants nearby and all only a 1 minute walk from the Sant Pau Hospital Metro Station. Walked to Sagrada Familia in about 20 minutes. We did have a problem with the safe in the room, due to a low battery error we couldn't open it and had to wait for the cleaners to come along with a key. Annoying, but all was ok in the end. Some other reviews mention the check in machine but we didnt have any problems. It is important that you check in before you arrive- we were sent an email and had to upload photos of passports so its worth being prepared.

We rented the three bedroom apartment in Barcelona. It was a nice place. The location was quiet since it was not near the main tourist areas, so we got to experience a neighborhood. We had no problem getting around as there was easy access to public transportation as well as taxis by the hospital San Pau.
There were a few minor things I would note.
1 - Check in as at 4PM and that means 4PM. Your card won't work until that time. There was an option for early check in but I didn't now about it until we were there and wasn't sure what that actually meant. It was 50 euros extra
2 - I agree with others that the check in system is big, clunky, and not very user friendly. It also only gives you one room key which was kind of a pain since we had five people. I did finally call and they printed out another, but it would be good to have that option at check in
3 - Luggage storage was confusing. The lockers were in the garage, but to access them you had to go to the landing in floor 0 to get a key. They were nice enough to let us store ours in the apartment prior to check in
4 - The apartment door is accessed via a card scanner. Ours was missing the cover, so sometimes our neighbors would bump it and short it out. The fix was for me to poke the wires with my key card and it eventually would reboot. ( I did not call for help on this one)
5 - We put our passports in the safe. On the third day it stopped working. We didn't change the code. Instead our code just stopped working. We had to have somebody come and unlock it. (They were very responsive)
6 - My wife and two daughters all got multiple bug bites in the apartment. I'm not sure if it was fleas or what, but it definitely happened at night when we were sleeping. (I did not bother complaining about this)
Overall we had a nice trip. I found the Castro folks very helpful when I asked for help, but we agreed we would stay somewhere a bit more upscale on our next trip to Barcelona.
