Catalonia Albeniz

Very good location, just a few minutes' walk to the Sagrada Familia. We saw it at dusk, and it was very beautiful. The hotel is close to public transport, including bus, train, and subway. Near the hotel, there are some interesting places to eat. The hotel is very comfortable, with a clean and renovated room, and its staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast area is a bit small but offers a great variety. The room is large with a comfortable bed; my room had a small terrace with a table and 2 chairs that I liked very much. It faced a street with quite a bit of noise, but the soundproofing of the room was spectacular, although the curtains did not block out the light; I don't understand why they don't install a different system.

Stayed at Catalonia Albeniz Barcelona and was extremely disappointed not with the level of service but with the attitude of the staff towards the guests. During my stay, I had a tariff with breakfast. At breakfast, I poured a glass of juice into my bottle, which already had water in it -- in fact, the juice was diluted with water. Upon check-out, the hotel employee demanded payment of 9 euros. It was not so much the amount itself as the approach itself that particularly resented me: instead of normal contact with the guest, a claim was made for a situation that clearly did not correspond to the size of the claim. In all my travel experiences, I've come across the fact that a hotel that already has breakfast is billed separately for a glass of drink. I find this treatment of guests unacceptable and inappropriate for the level of hotel service. Situations like this really spoil the impression. Evaluation: 2/5 (due to attitude and unpleasant final impression).
