El Castell

The hotel was massively let down by the food served in the restaurant and the lack of response when we raised this with hotel staff We were told we'd receive a refund for this and despite sending emails and correspondence this has been ignored If you stay here avoid the restaurant and don't expect to get any support from the hotel in trying to resolve any issues that may arise Very disappointed Avoid staying here

As a family we have been using the facilities since it first opened as a hotel. Overnight accommodation for visitors, first communions, weddings and many other family celebrations. My mother’s ideal treat was an overnight stay including meals even though she lived only a few kilometres away. It was so sad to arrive and see it in such a shabby state. The quality of service matching the state was a great disappointment. There is supposedly continuous refurbishment but it obviously it has not reached the garden rooms, where we were housed I presumed because of our late arrival. This was supposed to be a little treat after spending the day in Taragona watching the eclipse . Thankfully my mother is not alive to see the deplorable state that her favourite hotel has become.

We had our wedding here with 36 guest and it was lovely, the planner Jessica who help from day one, incredible woman, she couldn’t do enough to help / accommodate our wishes!!! The Actor, Juan Antonio who officiated the wedding was also so lovely, and all of the staff that helped on the day! We also want to mention, that we was staying the night before and the night of the wedding and the day before when we was checking in we had a little complication with the rooms but Carlos the hotel manger went above and beyond to help us and accommodate our needs. If you’re looking to have a small gathering, whatever the occasion, I would recommend here! Thank you all for making our day so memorable! ❤️
