El Castell Hotel

We had our wedding here with 36 guest and it was lovely, the planner Jessica who help from day one, incredible woman, she couldn’t do enough to help / accommodate our wishes!!! The Actor, Juan Antonio who officiated the wedding was also so lovely, and all of the staff that helped on the day! We also want to mention, that we was staying the night before and the night of the wedding and the day before when we was checking in we had a little complication with the rooms but Carlos the hotel manger went above and beyond to help us and accommodate our needs. If you’re looking to have a small gathering, whatever the occasion, I would recommend here! Thank you all for making our day so memorable! ❤️

Of course, you could add it like this: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ I stayed one night at this hotel, and honestly, the experience did not meet the price paid (165 € for one night). I want to especially highlight the lack of some basic hygiene items. I understand that each establishment has its policies, but I believe that, for the price of the room, at least a complimentary bottle of water and a toothbrush should be offered to guests. Especially when the stay is for just one night and one is just passing through, these details are taken into account, as many travelers often do not bring such items thinking they will be available at the accommodation. Additionally, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness. I found dust accumulated on the furniture, and the floor felt dirty when walking through the room. Hygiene is one of the most important aspects of any accommodation, and I believe it should be taken much more seriously. I understand that the hotel has a rustic decor in line with the castle theme, but one thing is to maintain an old aesthetic and another is for the furniture to look aged, neglected, or dusty. I believe that the charm of the place could be perfectly preserved with better maintenance and a more polished appearance. In general, I believe there is room for improvement in basic aspects such as cleanliness, hygiene, and courtesy details, especially considering the price of the stay.

SHABBY When you book a hotel where "you only sleep" for 170 euros/night plus a 1.99 fee, you come convinced that everything will be correct... In this hotel, it is not like that! The rooms are like those in a boarding house, with a dirty and broken fridge, a repainted and rusty bathroom, a tiny soap bar, a sink that doesn't drain, barely any water pressure for the shower, sunken beds that hurt you, and zero outlets... We saw a sign saying they are renovating, which they desperately need! But we haven't seen any intervention or discount. Not recommended!
