Spacious and comfortable room. Very nice mountain view. Very good sound insulation, no noise coming from the railway track next door. Beautiful functional bathroom. Decentered hotel (north of town) but we were looking for proximity to the Planas clinic which was perfect for us (10 min walk). However, the proximity to public transport makes it quick to get to the center of Barcelona and places of interest. Friendly staff. Parking located under the hotel very convenient but a little expensive: 24€ for 24h

After 5 hours drive, we were refused at the hotel entrance simply because we forgot our physical ID card. However, we have presented our driver’s licenses, our digital ID cards on our phones, the credit card used for the reservation, as well as proof of reservation. Despite this, no understanding, no solution offered... cold and unyielding welcome. Fortunately, a 5-minute walk away, Hotel Mikado welcomed us warmly, professionally and kindly, and accepted the same documents without any problems. Thank you to them for saving our evening. I do not recommend this property to those looking for a human welcome and a minimum of flexibility.

The photos betray a bit... The hotel is located in the west (and therefore in the upper part) of Barcelona, a residential and distinguished area...very beautiful and scrambled. From the outside you understand that it is not brand new and when you enter the rooms you confirm the initial idea. We (it was me and my wife) had been given a standard room but it was at street level... so we would have to keep the curtains always closed. We asked if a change was possible and the manager (SUPER) came up with an upgrade assigning us their best room (we were on a sort of honeymoon, so he gave us a huge gift), spacious and comfortable. All the staff I must say I was wonderful and helpful... the best thing about the structure. Hearty and varied breakfast. Normal swimming pool... but in general all a bit 'unkept. Warning: there is no free parking, so you would be forced to pay 3.50 euros/hour. We took the private parking of the hotel at 25 euros / day but I can say that it is not the easiest and most serene thing in the world: dug into the stone is narrow and with half the places already occupied by some nearby company. I repeat, thank all the staff who were super nice... for the rest... a normal 3 star.
