Gran Sol Hotel

The main reason i'm putting 'pen to paper' is because of the unfriendliness/rude/snotty attitude of not all but most of staff. Worst part was the Restuarant. Do not be tempted by the beautiful view, aircon, fab menu and pricing...believe me i felt robbed! 'Welcome drink' on arrival with menu- what a laugh...not even eye contact...after waiting 20 minutes we had to ask for it... Fish and veg were cold, sent back...arrived back on cold plate...2 degrees warmer...skin soggy. No- is everything ok? Can i get snything else? It is a traing restuarant, but the irony is that the stagaires were great...it was the main guys that were rude snd do bad at their job. Room was fine, but walls are paoer thin- i felt the man next door was snoring in my bed! And omg nearly fogot- worst breakfast ever- undrinkable coffee, bad pastries and disgusting orange juice...Won't be back...

We booked this hotel for two nights; regarding the hotel, there is nothing to complain about: simple room, clean, with a beautiful sea view. The outdoor areas, garden, and pool are in very good condition. Breakfast is acceptable. Where it goes wrong is at the restaurant. The so-called gourmet menu is more of a classic menu; however, from the à la carte, we ordered a paella that was a disgrace! Burnt rice and nonexistent garnish! Dessert was terrible. And especially young trainees with teachers who do not correct the major mistakes they make during service! I am not sure that the management takes into account the comments we can make for the benefit of the establishment!

I stayed for one day at this hotel, which I had been looking forward to for a long time. It is very good. The room and its ocean views are unmatched. Magnificent dinner with superior quality. I will return. Thank you.
