H10 Catalunya Plaza

We stayed in two rooms here. The location cannot be beat. You a right on the Plaza Catalunya, with all its metro stops and a block from the beginning of Las Ramblas. We walked all over Barcelona from here and took the metro. The room was beautiful art deco style -- well appointed with a fridge, complimentary cookies, water and apple juice and a beautiful bathroom. We had a balcony you could go out onto to view the Plaza, though given the heat I only did that once. The air-conditioning was EXCELLENT!! Particularly useful during a heat wave. We had drinks at the bar one night, which was lovely, but did not have breakfast. You can hear people in the hall through the door, but no noise at night. All in all the staff were pleasant and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for three nights in this charming hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Our triple room was very comfortable and clean. Audrey, who was in charge of our room, did an excellent job preparing our beds for the night and full-filled all our requests every time. The reception staff was very pleasant and efficient. They helped us with dinning suggestions and ways to visit Barcelona. We highly recommend trying the breakfast they offer, at least once; it is amazing and relaxing. The atmosphere is that of a deluxe old fashion hotel that enchants everyone who stays there. You do get a good value for your money. The 12 to 4 tea, coffee, and snacks was a real bonus. We had a great time and would stay there again.

My wife and I enjoyed a great stay at the H10 Catalunya Plaza in Barcelona. The staff were excellent and the room was comfortable and quiet. Loved the vintage elevator. The breakfasts each morning were amazing. The location was central and made walking to many attractions and to restaurants very easy. Also easy access to buses, train routes and taxis. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant. Barcelona was a wonderful start to our 30-day Southern Europe vacation adventure.
