Hostal Palermo

I travel a lot for work and pleasure. Here's the honest assessment: this triple room is actually spacious. The newly renovated bathroom works and is clean. The balcony overlooks authentic Barcelona, not a courtyard or a wall. The building's historical elements (high ceilings, period details) haven't been stripped out, they are actually beautiful. No surprise amenities that cost extra. The staff are helpful without being pushy. It's a small, family-run hotel, which means accountability. If something's wrong, they fix it because it's their name on the building. This is efficient, no-nonsense hospitality. I'll be back.

I traveled to Barcelona with two friends my age for a trip I had been planning for years. The triple room was perfect for us. The new bathroom is clean and functional, everything accessible without complications. The overall cleanliness is impeccable. What we liked most was being able to open the balcony and see the life of the Gothic Quarter without leaving the room. The building's antique details give it character, not that coldness of modern hotels. The staff was extremely attentive and considerate. A ten out of ten stay.

We traveled as a family from Mexico, parents, children, and grandparents. We were looking for a room where we could all fit without being cramped. The triple and quintuple rooms at the Palermo were perfect. They are truly spacious, the triple is newly renovated, the new bathroom is impeccable, truly clean. We loved waking up to the views of the Gothic Quarter from the balcony. The room has that special something, the high ceilings, the antique details, it makes you feel like you are in Barcelona, not a generic hotel. The staff was very warm with us, the children felt welcome. It was the best part of our trip through Europe.
