Hotel Continental Palacete

I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Barcelona for business, this one was slightly cheaper so I thought I’d give it a go. Whilst in places not as modern, as some hotels, my experience of the staff is that they are friendly, and customer focused with a desire for good hospitality. The main rooms are beautifully decorated, there’s a free buffet, 24 hours, I’ve seen some reviews saying the food isn’t great; but there’s no charge, and most other hotels in Barcelona charge you for everything, so I thought it was a nice touch. Also there was a kettle and fridge in the room. Aircon in room, hairdryer and bed was comfy. I’d stay again. If you have mobility issues, there are lots of stairs, including at the entrance (although I saw a lift)

Accommodating and easily accessible, in the center of the city on the la rabla, with excellent service from the always willing and courteous staff. 24 hour opportunity for a snack, with the ice cream machine to do overtime, beverages and crackers on a permanent basis, we saved a lot of money and effort. Definitely a value for money, hotel in an excellent location that we would definitely stay again on our next visit to Barcelona.

The hotel's location was incredibly beautiful. It is within walking distance of all the tourist attractions, so we can return immediately even when I get tired from sightseeing. A magnificent building with an interior like a palace. The breakfast could have been better. But the room where we had breakfast was incredibly lovely. It was a great experience for us. We really liked this hotel.
