4 nights at the Meliá Barcelona Sky, Level 5-star side. Check-in at the lounge was long, but the person at the front desk told us to go help ourselves to drinks and food while waiting. Magnificent view, and this would be the only day we were able to access this nice place. Because there was no more air conditioning, the lounge was moved to the ground floor. There, it has much, much less charm. The suite is nice and modern. We should note the floor tiles that are loose in some places and move completely. I will also note the fact that the cleaning is done quickly, especially regarding the towels. After using the two small hand towels for 3 people for two days, I put them out to be washed. Never replaced. I used a bathrobe for the pool, never replaced. I used sugar in the room, never replaced. Admittedly these are details, but for a 5-star suite and given the price, it is important. At breakfast, a space is reserved for lounge members; I did not find it incredible. On the hotel bar counter on the ground floor, things are set up. On the side without lounge access: no crepes and pancakes, the hot dishes are not varied, not a great selection in the end. On the level lounge side, it is basically the same but with crepes, pancakes, honey, and an on-demand order menu included. I commend the poached eggs with caviar after looking over the menu; these are superb. The pool is nice and functional, the card system for towels is really annoying but… I understand. The staff in general is welcoming, friendly, the place is beautiful, clean, and pleasant, the neighborhood is very good (but currently no trams because of construction). Here is my review. If I were invited I would come back, if I had to pay I would choose another hotel.

Great hotel. Fantastic amenities and service. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool was lovely. A special mention for Antonio who cannot be any better. So friendly, professional and welcoming. Good luck to the Melia group trying to keep this AMAZING diamond.

Amazing hotel, best roof top pool. Staff are very friendly and nothing is an issue to ask for. I will definitely return. Location is great for coffee shops, metro and 2 shopping centres Had the best 4 days away thank you
