This hotel is the best! Stay here if you are going to Barcelona. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is close to many historical sites that you can easily walk to. There is also a square just a few minutes to walk to that has a lot of excellent restaurants to choose from. The rooms are nice and modern. The breakfast buffet is like a work of art and is delicious. One of the best features is the scent in the hotel! I’m still trying to find one that smells the same. Beautiful hotel, close to many things, excellent staff, great location. You will not be disappointed in staying here.

I stayed here for one night with my Mum before a cruise to celebrate her 70th birthday and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is spotlessly clean and all of the staff were extemely friendly and professional and we were given a very warm welcome when we arrived. The room had clearly been refurbished to a very high standard with a lovely bathroom with large walk in shower which was ideal for my Mum. Lovely selection of toileteries provided along with complimentary water. We didn't use them however the minibar drinks were reasonably priced too. The hotel is in a lovely area, 5 minutes walk and we were in the Gothic Quarter where we had a lovely meal and sat outside in the square for drinks. Breakfast in the morning was absoltuely sensational, I travel frequently and I would go as far as to say that it was the best breakfast buffet I have had with real quality ingredients. Like the rest of the hotel, the breakfast room had been refurbished and the lady clearing the tables was lovely. Would 100% recommend and I would suggest that the 3.7 tripadvisor score is a hangover from before the rooms were refurbished. I can only see the score going up very quickly as it really is a gem. Hoping to be back next year on another cruise but with hubby this time!

We stayed at this hotel before and after a cruise. The hotel is in a very good location near the Port, Marina, La Rambla with lots of restatarants nearby. Our superior room was a good size and spotlessly clean. There was a good selection at breakfast. All the reception staff were extremely helpful and willing to book tickets for attractions and taxis and also recommend restaurants. Our room was available early on each occasion we checked in which was a bonus. I would not hesitate to recomend this hotel and would stay here again if in Barcelona.
