Sir Victor Barcelona

This is such a fun hotel! Everything about Sir Victor is creative and thoughtful. The room layout (we had a standard room) was really interesting giving privacy while also being open. The room had small touches like denim bathrobes and plenty of storage. The bathroom had a huge shelf in the shower for toiletries and useful drawers under the sink. This is the most intentional hotel bathroom I have ever seen. The location can't be beat for getting around Barcelona. There are two metro lines nearby and several bus lines that can get you all around the city. While we were staying at Sir Victor we were celebrating a birthday. I asked for their help and the staff came through. We had a cake and bottle of wine waiting in our room. They also added in some balloons and a card for that extra touch. It was so great to have the staff go above any hopes to make it a memorable birthday.

The location is perfect for high end shopping and also walkable to the old gothic quarter and Sagrada Familia. The staff was GREAT. We got in at 10am on June 18, and the front desk staff was able to let us check in early. The ladies also gave us great recommendation on what attractions to see and where to have good local tapas and the best seafood restaurant. The room was spacious and modern for European standard (king bed with balcony). We were in room 608, right next to The Club, which was a co-working space (used by hotel guests and outside guests who paid a membership) with beautiful furniture and conducive working environment. We were able to get some work done before heading out to see the city. Richard and the team at front desk on June 19 were able to get us a table Botafumeiro, the most famous seafood restaurant in Barcelona. It is just less than 10 mins from the hotel. We checked out on June 20 noon. Richard was so nice to call us in the room to inquire if we need help with our luggage. He also helped us hail a cab where we head to the cruise port. Our experienced in Barcelona is nothing short of being perfect. As a former hotelier who worked in luxury hotels, I am extremely discerning when it comes to hotel amenities and service. The hotel and their exceptional staff made our vacation experience in Barcelona even better. GREAT JOB, Team Sir Victor Barcelona!
