Urbany BCN GO Hostel

I went on a school trip and the experience was horrible.I found a dirty,moldy toothbrush under my mattress and there were blood stained sheets.Under the bed expect to find moldy oreos with a truckload of dust.Don't bother turning on the shower unless you are ready for extremely hot water.You are not able to control the temperature or the pressure of the shower and be prepared for your room to turn into a swimming pool as the shower floods the whole entire room there is also ALOT of dirt and dust in the room.This hostel us not for light sleepers as at noon random people come to the hostel and play games and watch football.The breakfast is ok.Some of the fruit had gone bad but overall the breakfast is good.The hot tub in the hostel remains unused as the chlorine,ph and alkinine levels are unknown.The staff is quite nice and understanding.Overall I would never stay here again.I give it 2 stars out of 5 only because of the staff.

Location was in the Gran Via location of Barcelona. This was a difficult Hostel to find due to the streets looking so similar!. Inside the Hostel was a clean and basic ( but comfortable ) bed in a dorm with others travellers. Key Card to enter rooms and hostel. Shower and toilet in room which was good. Very small bar. There is also a kitchen but I didn’t access it. Nice and helpful Reception Staff. Nothing to complain about really. Basic , comfortable and moderately priced. This a REAL review! True!

Terrible the shower pole broke as we were having a shower the water kept stopping freezing then the shower sprayed straight onto the bathroom floor leaving an ocean full of water on the floor. Food is disgusting the only thing I had was 2 tomatoes and those look gone off. The pillows had mysterious stains the staff said they wouldn’t change the bedding. It was so unclean the staff wouldn’t do a thing the location isn’t bad but I wouldn’t stay here considering the amenities. The view from the windows was quite pleasant the rooms were smaller than a prison cell and as hot as the Sahara desert considering the lack of air con. The mattress is lumpy and so uncomfortable
