Coming from the baltic countries and the extremely unfriendly Marriot hotel there to this Hyatt in Barcelona is like re-entering civilization. The hotel has people waiting at the front door to greet you, to help you with luggage, to direct you to the front desk. The check in was efficient, and they put us in a nice big suite as globalist without having to ask. The room is huge with two toilets, a jacuzzi tub and large shower, and a dressing room. The shower water pressure is great, and bed very comfortable.
The lounge serves alcoholic drinks and has a special cart for cocktails, which is very nice. The food selection is not great, considering the Barcelona is such a gourmet city (but maybe because of it, they do not expect people to actually eat in the hotel lounge). The manager is extremely friendly and made sure to talk to everyone and offer to help with anything. The breakfast is really excellent. They even reserved a nice quiet corner area for Globalists with special cook to order menu, special juice and champagne. They really treat Globalists nicely.
The taxi and uber are right in front of the hotel and are really easy to call. This is a big plus for getting to the airpot or old town Barcelona. All in all, a great Hyatt hotel.
