APARTHOTEL VALLES

Very pleasant reception, very quiet area, the receptionist explains everything very well, private parking, very spacious and clean apartment hotel, large covered terrace, a very large bed, and an independent kitchen. BUT!!! Even so, it could have been much better, especially considering the quite high price paid per night. THINGS TO IMPROVE: there were no glasses in the kitchen (we had to use those from the bathroom), nor was there any dishwashing liquid or hand soap. There were no cloths or towels to dry hands (we had to use a small towel from the bathroom). There was also not enough toilet paper for 2 nights and 2 days for 2 adults (thank goodness we thought to buy a pack beforehand!). There was no sponge for washing dishes (luckily we had brought our own), nor spare trash bags to throw away the garbage. There was also no roll of paper towels in the kitchen. There were very few utensils and only 2 cooking tools. There were no scissors or knives that cut well. A bottle opener would also have been very useful. We went in early May (it was still not summer!) and the air conditioning was set to cold mode. We could not switch between cold or heat, only adjust the temperature. We had set it to 26°C all night so that when we returned, the room would be warm. But when we returned in the early morning, with 12°C outside, our great disappointment arrived: the air was still blowing cold. So we immediately turned off the air conditioning. Fortunately (once again) we had thought to bring our own blankets and thick, warm winter pajamas, because we were really very cold. There was also no type of heating in the bathroom (for example, a small heater). We also needed a mop to clean an area of the floor, but we found nothing to clean the floor if necessary (neither broom, nor bucket, nor mop). The terrace should have at least one outdoor light, because at night we were completely in the dark. Additionally, the terrace could be better equipped, with garden furniture (sofas or benches with cushions, a low table, etc.). There were also no ashtrays available… we had to use a coffee cup! Outside, there was only a hard iron bench without cushions and an iron table, nothing designed for comfort. There were no armchairs or loungers. The terrace was very empty, although it is large and has a lot of potential to be much better utilized. I am writing this comment so that they can improve, simply by adding some essential and indispensable items, especially in the kitchen. I sincerely hope that they take my comment seriously and do what is necessary to improve all those small details that are missing, but are really important. That would totally make a difference for their future clients! Despite this entire list of things we missed and that disappointed us during the stay — things that need to be added, changed, or improved — we still had a good weekend. We hope to be able to return!

The most unpleasant staff I've encountered in a hotel. Particularly the receptionists. Cutting, cold and unkind.

The dinner waiter is a machine. All my respect. Invitations too. Very well.
