Romantic de Sitges

The house that today houses the Hotel Medium Romàntic is interesting because it summarizes an important part of Sitges' history. It was a residence built in 1897 that only became a hotel in the 1950s. It became a place full of charm and history. The hotel is all decorated with many works of art. We stayed on the second floor. There was no elevator and we went up with the suitcases by a beautiful and wide staircase. The room was not big, but it was all tidy and had a great air conditioner working well. The bathroom was very small. Highlight the excellent breakfast served at the restaurant next to the hotel garden.

I have never left a negative review before for any business but I truly feel people need to be aware of this problem at this hotel. I arrived with my daughters and best friend to one of our rooms smelling so awful. They changed our room but the new room still was awful. The scent was in the hallways as well. We stayed one night. I paid for 3 nights. No refund. We had to leave. Our noses were running and our head was throbbing. There is a severe problem with this hotel. I am grateful I was able to find another hotel. I am out hundreds of dollars having paid for 2 hotels but there was no other option,

I thought the stay was great, the housekeeping was good, it was clean and professional. The reception smelled amazing and they were super friendly. Although there were no elevators and we had to bring the heavy suitcases up the three flights of stairs, the bar staff made up for it. Malik, our waiter was amazing, he was super friendly and he was so attentive and generous. My whole party, me and my mom and my sister really liked him. He was our highlight of our trip. Malik was great!! We really enjoyed the drinks he made us and we told the reception so!!
