Caru Apartaments

The apartments were clean and very comfortable with everything you could need included. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned and beds changed twice during our week long stay which was lovely. Air conditioning was great since the weather was so hot and the pool was well used, especially as we were on the ground floor so our apartment opened straight onto the pool side. There was a lovely roof terrace with lots of seating and barbecues, good for an evening meal or drinks. The location is great, a quiet neighbourhood and an easy 15 minute walk to the amazing beach. The train station and town are a 10 minute walk in the other direction and trains to Barcelona are frequent, fast and cheap. We also took the train to Sitges one day. There are lots of family friendly restaurants in walking distance too and we certainly didn't need a car. All local information is shared by Rosa on arrival and she was on hand every day to help with any queries, this really enhanced our stay as she was so kind and spoke English very well.

The place has all the basic amenities, and walking distance to many attractions and to the beach. Its a nice quiet neighbourhood. It has a nice kitchen and we were able to cook there. Overall the place is worth what you pay for. It is noteworthy to mention that the place states it is wheelchair friendly, and although it has step free access, the place is not meant for a wheelchair. The rooms are quite narrow and the bathroom is so small. The wheelchair cannot fit into the bedrooms nor the bathroom. Also, if you have a big size vehicle, the parking would be very difficult.

We had a great time at CARU. They received us at the afternoon, they were very friendly and helpful (they told us a lot of useful info of Castelldefels and Barcelona, ask them for restaurants!!). Everything was completely clean, with loads of equipment (basics as oil or salt or hairdryer). Location is also good, it's at the center of town, and extremely near from the beach, weather is great!!! Also near from the train station in order to visit Barcelona. I came with my family, to have a good relaxed week, so Im grateful of the calm we found there. Would really recommend it !
