This hotel is convenient to the train and beach without being overly noisy. I brought my kids for one night as a kind of 'staycation' from a nearby town while public school teachers were on strike. We got an attic room with three beds and it was all sorted in the end, but I was unhappy with how the booking went. I thought I had it all arranged through Booking.com, but the hotel wants you to disclose your payment details, etc. through another 3rd party site. I ended up paying in person at the reception at a nearby affiliated hotel and it worked out. For the day leading up to our stay I was unhappy to have a non-refundable reservation where the reply about 3 beds vs. sleeps 3 was 'subject to availability' even though I'd selected what I wanted through Booking already. I'd also mention that the art theme rugby-players'-crotches suggests I'm not their target demographic, but this place is nice enough for a short stay.

Beautiful building. Rooms were lovely and clean. Fresh towels. Easy check in and check out. Stayed 3 nights 12th 15th March. Everything you need is within walking distance. Booked package with EasyJet very cheap. I would definitely return.

I really don’t know how people can give this place less than 5 stars. The value for money is incredible. Me and my partner stayed here from 12th - 15th March. On arrival you check in around the corner at the sister hotel, the staff were so friendly and polite. The tourism tax was literal pocket change (around 3-4 euros). This was a cheap city break for us and we did not go with expectations of a 5 star establishment. The room exceeded our expectations, high ceilings and nice and airy. We opted for the room with a balcony. The room was clean, fresh towels daily if you wish and the water pressure was great. The room was simply just a place to sleep for us and we could not complain at all. Please don’t listen to the bad or “mediocre” reviews. This place is cheap and cheerful. If you are after a clean place to stay then I cannot recommend this place enough. Our trip cost us £192.00 for 2 of us for 3 nights (flights included through EasyJet). The hotel is also in a great location. 2 minute walk to the train station and maximum 5 minutes to the nightlife with lovely restaurants, cafes and bars. We will be back - thank you again.
