Hotel a bit dated but perfect location, excellent service and treatment. The breakfast provided by the hotel is perfect and offers sweet and savory options with a wide schedule ranging from 08.00 to 12.00. The staff is available to solve your problems and make your stay a true period of relaxation. At the hotel, with a simple 5 € deposit, we rented a beach umbrella. The property has a lovely pool that we used on the last day, as well as a shower and luggage storage. Excellent value for money.

honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. When I booked Hotel El Cid, I was a little apprehensive because it is a one star hotel and I normally like staying in luxury hotels. A friend recommended it and said everyone loved it, so I decided to give it a chance. I am so glad I did because it has genuinely become one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was so welcoming. The staff on reception could not do enough for you and always greeted you with a smile. The hotel has such a relaxed, friendly vibe and everyone around the pool was lovely. It was so easy to switch off and enjoy the holiday. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was excellent with plenty of choice. During the day they even put out fresh lemonade and croissants for guests to help themselves to, which was such a thoughtful touch. The rooms were cleaned every single day to a really high standard. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very much appreciated in the Spanish heat, and having a lovely balcony made the room even better. One thing that really impressed me was what they offered after checkout. My flight was in the evening, so after checking out at midday I was able to leave my suitcase securely at the hotel. Even better, they have a dedicated shower room where you can freshen up before heading to the airport. I have stayed in five star hotels that do not even offer this, so for me that was a huge bonus and made my journey home so much more comfortable. The only tiny criticism I could make is that there was no hairdryer in the room. Luckily I had bought one while I was in Spain, so it really was not an issue. Overall, this hotel completely exceeded every expectation I had. It proves that star ratings do not always reflect the experience you will have. The friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, spotless rooms, great breakfast and thoughtful little touches made this an unforgettable stay. I would return without hesitation and will happily recommend Hotel El Cid to anyone visiting Sitges.

Fantastic budget hotel with a great breakfast! Pool area nice and clean, rooms great.. can’t fault it. Top floor balcony’s are exceptional, 2 sun loungers and electric canopy.
