We stayed for one night before an early departure. We arrived at noon and were pleased to find we were given our key straight away. We booked an apartment which was in the older section across the road. Although a tad dated it was a fantastic size, a huge balcony and everything you need if you want to self cater. It was clean, comfortable with great air con. There is a pool in this section but we used the one across at the other side as there is a bar and restaurant. The food and drinks in there were really good value and it was comfortable round the pool. The only downside I can see if you were there for any longer a period is the noise from the planes as it’s constant given they fly directly low overhead as I wouldn’t be able to relax for any length of time. The location is great directly across from the beach and there are loads of bars and restaurants. Overall good value for money and would stay again for a pre-flight stopover but not for a longer holiday only due to the planes.

Spent five nights here and loved it. The room was spacious, very clean, with small kitchen as well as small balcony which had a sea view. The pool is small but does the job if you want to cool off. Room only so didn't have the breakfast but it looked like it was of a good standard. We just bought in milk and cereal and enough food for a packed lunch on our days out. The nearest supermarket is one mile away but if you don't mind a walk through picturesque Spanish streets then it's worth it. The town of Castelldefels is super clean, fantastic beach with several bars and restaurants dotted around and the hotel is perfectly located for all, as well as right next to a Basketball court (which suited me!) as well as loads more activity going on. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Let me start with what I liked: the bed and pillows are quite comfortable. The hotel is cute, it is in front of the beach, and the shower is good. We stayed in a room with kitchen, which had all the necessary utensils. Wi-fi worked well. What left nothing to be desired: the bath towels were very worn and old. The shower box spilled water, leaving the bathroom wet. And there was a permanently lit emergency light in the room overnight, which interrupted my sleep. Since I only stayed one night, I didn't complain, so I don't know if there was any way to turn it off. I tried to turn it off, but I couldn't. But the most frustrating was the pool / jacuzzi. We book this hotel primarily to rest after 15 days of travel and before picking up an early flight the next day in El Prat. We chose the Masd especially because of the heated pool, so it was disappointing to get there and realize that the water was just warm, not really heated. It was a cold and rainy day, so a warm pool made a lot of difference. We couldn't even get in. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that they charged two euros for the pool towel.
