We have been guests at this hotel for a few years, but this time the experience was disastrous. We had 4 nights booked in a superior sea-view room. For health reasons, we had to stay one more night and they offered us a standard exterior room for €146. If they had shown it to us, we would not have stayed. Dirty, small room and the condition of the bathroom was shameful: tile paint peeling and cobwebs. That same night we complained. The next day, when checking out, I told Natalia (the front desk manager) that if she had shown it to me, I would have looked for other options. Reluctantly and unpleasantly, she replied that they had refunded my money and that the manager had said we should not return. Absolutely inconceivable for a hotel to say that and, certainly, not professional at all. Dear manager who is never present at the hotel: do not worry, we will not return and we hope things go very well for you and the group. The only things that save this “hotel” are the location and René at the front desk. Good luck; you are going to need it

Good location, the room is a bit small but acceptable. Near the city center, restaurants, and the beach. Breakfast is a bit expensive but it's worth it for the quality.

Hotel Subur fulfilled all of our expectations, if not exceeded them. Super friendly (bilingual) staff, tidy rooms and the location is to die for. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants and bars. We stayed for a week in several rooms cause the hotel was fully booked. The staff was so friendly switching our luggage from room to room while we enjoyed La Playa Del Muerta. 😎 Breakfast was pretty standard but had pretty much everything you could need. The lady running the breakfast show was, again, super friendly while guiding new workers at the same time! The restaurant also serves as a sport bar, with good food and excellent for watching The World Cup. ;) Tip: if the attic room is available, its totally worth it! We had our own private balcony on the roof top with sunbeds. Might have finished my (nude) tan lines there, yaiks. 😳 Downsides are the lack of pool and the slowest elevators ever, haha. All in will definitely be back when in Sitges!
