Meson del Cid

We booked this property at short notice, having left Leon a day early and being unable to check into our next intended hotel a day early. Checking in was a challenge as we had booked a suite and the one we were offered bore not even a passing resemblance to the one that we had booked which, we eventually found out, was in a separate neighbouring building. We persisted and won the battle only to find that the lift in the other building was out of order. Fortunately, the staff were prepared to help us with our luggage. The location is superb, breakfast was good, everything was very clean, parking was a challenge, the people were variable (why be that way?) , but Roberto was very kind when helping us to retrieve a piece of lost property (which remains lost to this day!)

We stayed one night, but we would have liked to stay longer. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a step away from the Cathedral and very close to bars and restaurants. The staff is very friendly, willing to help with everything necessary. The room is very comfortable, with an excellent view of the Cathedral, and the breakfast is very good. In summary, an excellent experience; we were very satisfied, and if we returned to Burgos, we would go back to the same hotel.

beautiful hotel, spectacular location, cleanliness, attention to the guest, spacious rooms, bathrooms equipped with everything and more, splendid breakfast with a view of the cathedral at a more than excellent price. What more could you want?
