Hotel & Spa Ceres

Very basic hotel for the price they charge. It is not badly decorated, it is simple and functional, the hall is nice but the rooms have very little comfort. The mattress is made of springs... in the 21st century, the heating very fair, in the bathroom it is cold and the television is a separate point. Most of the channels are not viewable: TV1, la 2, Teleporte, etc. It's antenna TV, not pay TV, eye. About the heating, check it because in Lerma it is very cold and it can not be that customers go cold. They have a bathtub instead of a shower, something inconceivable in these times and also slips. Very uncomfortable for older people. Bathroom amenities are limited to a bar of handwashing soap and a bottle of gel, and there is no more. At the reception you are attended to on arrival but there was no one at the departure, to enter you must dial a code at the door. As for breakfast, I can't rate it because I haven't had it. I don't recommend it, I think they charge a lot for what they offer. I expected more.

I have just spent one night in a superior double room of the Hotel Ceres, in Lerma, and although I can not say that it was a terrible experience, it was disappointing considering the 95 euros it cost me. The decor is simple, modern and correct, but the service is slack. A degree outside and the room icy at 5:30 pm and unable to control the temperature in the thermostat. It takes quite a while to heat up xq the ceilings are very high. Simple beds with spring mattress and antique pillows., not comfortable. No sound insulation, you hear the bells in the early morning as if you were in the bell tower, slippery bath instead of shower and a cold q peels. Amenities are scarce and TV half spoiled, half the channels are not seen. The receptionist is not usually there and there is q call x tfno, even when you leave the room at 10 in the morning. Little service for what you pay.

I loved this hotel, with sober and current design, a spacious room, excellent mattress and pillows and a full and very rich breakfast. Next to the main square but protected from noise. If I go back to the area, I will definitely repeat.
