BARROSA PALACE AND SPA

Like every year, the best family vacation, everything perfect: rooms, pools, beach, always highlighting all the hotel staff who are truly incredible and become like family.

Wonderful setting, but after so many years of going as a family, we noticed many changes in the staff that are hard to understand. Decisive workers who are no longer there and who make the stay fantastic are replaced by others who are not as good...making the service not that of a 5-star hotel. The food has also changed over time, it seems like a 4-star, although we keep paying more every year...

This hotel is a little piece of paradise on earth, first because Cádiz, its people, and its light are a joy, and second because of the hotel's excellent location on La Barrosa beach. But what undoubtedly stands out at this hotel is its management and staff; I cannot name the workers who made our stay so wonderful, because shifts change and because I am sure that there is a lot of staff who do not have direct contact with the public but who work hard so that the stay is fantastic; from here we want to send congratulations to everyone, THANK YOU truly to the cleaning, maintenance, kitchen (brutal), waitstaff, entertainment, reception, administration, and management staff. You do an incredible team job. This has been our fifth summer and we are already looking forward to the next one to repeat. However, this year we experienced a situation that had never happened to us before and that we understand is difficult to solve, but perhaps it can be minimized. One of the aspects that stands out at this hotel is the tranquility, the silence in common areas and during rest time. However, this year our stay coincided with a larger number of families with children, some of whom had inappropriate behaviors: running through the hallways late at night, climbing the walls of their room terraces, screaming in the pool even despite the lifeguard's efforts to remind them that they should not disturb… Logically, the hotel is not to blame for this, but rather their parents and the upbringing they provide their children; but if the trend of the guests is like this, part of the hotel's magic is broken and it would be a great shame.
