Macia Donana

Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Macia Donana, my family and I stayed for a week and it was perfect. Rooms immaculately clean, breakfast everything you would need, super selection and tasty, the bar and breakfast staff were simply amazing, nothing too much trouble. The pool area was pristine. Not forgetting the smooth booking at central reservation and the welcoming ladies at reception, always available to answer any queries. Would definitely stay again. Congratulations Spain Men’s Football World Champions 🇪🇸

We booked this hotel because of its position close to the restaurants and because it had parking. The lobby was impressive and the Receptionist helpful. We headed to our room which was a 'Junior Suite' with a tiny balcony overlooking the pool, it looked old fashioned slightly refurbed. The bathroom was very small with too much sanitary wear squeezed in. We headed out for a beer and lunch, relaxed at hotel, headed out to do some shopping later, about 5.30pm when temp was up to 36 deg, decided to eat at hotel as it was so hot. Firstly, bar was unattended and full of dirty glasses, plates, crumbs. Restaurant was closed! Very unhelpful Receptionist told us to ring a bell and a waiter would arrive and take our order. Didn't fancy that one bit. Headed out back to Baja de Guia. We were surprised at the excellent quality of the breakfast the next morning, but would rate it as the worst hotel we stayed out of the eight we stayed in on our trip.

We stayed a group from 18 to 22 February. All phenomenal (rooms - dining room - cleanliness - friendliness on the part of all the staff) special mention for Juanma (dining room and cafeteria) spectacular . Definitely highly recommended hotel.
