NH Sotogrande

We stayed in the hotel in this June. Our room was good but not ideal for my semi disabled husband as there were too many steps. However we are going back in September and are in a room with no steps. We found our room nice and quiet a plus. It is more on the lines of a corporate hotel but we went there because it was central to where we wanted to be in Sotogrande having had a property in the area for 24 years. The pool area did lack sunshades but lots of beds and towels in abundance to use. All cared for by the pool attendant/life guard. There is a small gym with air conditioning which I used. The outside bar area was good and my husband enjoyed sitting there looking at the pool with a drink in hand. The food was good at the bar area I loved their Club sandwich. Breakfast was I thought a very good buffet with lots to eat. I felt the bedrooms could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly daily. The one thing that really stood out for this hotel was the staff they were fabulous. Eva (management at reception) was amazing and willing to help us in anyway. All reception staff were good and spoke English. Re the restaurant/bar all staff were excellent Javier and Maria definitely stood out for us because of their constant help especially with my husband and quick service. We enjoyed our stay very much and will as I mentioned be returning in September. Thank you to all the staff for making it a lovely break for us.

Excellent hotel just off the A7 at Sotogrande, the hotel is modern, light, airy and spacious with lovely communal areas, bedrooms and garden with pool. The service from Reception, Housekeeping and Food and Beverage was first class, everyone very friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are very spacious, the bed was huge and the shower excellent. Breakfast was an array of foods to please all tastes, from cold fruits, juices, yoghurts, pastries, hams and cheese, and hot traditional breakfast. The gardens and pool area was very relaxing with plenty of sun loungers and complimentary pool towels. 100% recommend to anyone.
