Hotel which is situated in a quiet street walking distance to everything is a typical worn down 1970 type hotel. Front desk staff are a plus: Friendly and smiling.
I booked a 2 person room, either with one double bed or two single beds, but ended in a 1 person room with only one single bed... A mistake by the hotel, but I accepted it on the condition that I only paid for this type which gave me a 5 € reduction.
Room was very basic. Air conditioning was very good as You could adjust i to "quiet" mode so You could have it turned on when being in the room.
Wifi was working but the unsafe, unprotected type, so You did not want to order anything where You had to give Your credit card details...
Bathroom ok but when You had flushed the toilet and the reservoir refilled it sounded like a jackhammer. No ideal for the sleeping people next door when using the toilet at nighttime, as the walls were paper-thin so You easily heard everything when people were talking next door. Unfortunately their toilet behaved the same way so I woke up when their toilet were refilling...
This is not a hotel for a good night sleep...

First the positives - the hotel is very well located, very clean, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are basic, and the walls so thin that you can hear every word of normal conversation from next door, and every snore and movement throughout the night. There was no hot water for one morning, but this was resolved during the day - however, there was a water leak through the ceiling of a downstairs corridor, which was dripping constantly, and noisily at night [keeping some guests awake], and overflowing the bucket to soak the carpet, for three days without repair. The breakfast was far short of basic, with tea/coffee, orange juice, cornflakes, cheese and ham slices, sliced bread/toast, butter or olive oil, jam and tiny cakes, and the breakfast room very small and crowded [our coach party had to be allocated two sittings, and it was still uncomfortable]. Finally, our bath had two large and rough rust patches in the bottom, the unmovable shower head bracket was well over 6 feet up the wall [OK for us, but many of our friends would not have been able to reach], and you needed to be a contortionist to sit on the toilet, which was tucked into a corner such that you sat with your knees under the sink surround.

Very mixed feelings with this 3 star Hotel. Bedroom very clean and a nice size with Bathroom en-suite. Room maids very efficient and tidy, towels replaced daily. The big problem and I have spoken with other guests is the shower. There is no thermostatic shower and it was impossible to regulate the temperature of the water. The hot was far too hot. I would estimate over 70°C, when you have it regulated using the taps as soon as you lift it up to engage the spray fitting it turns quickly to burning hot. It was only possible to use the bath to avoid scalding ones self. Breakfast was stated as a Continental breakfast but was below par. Sorry I couldn't give a higher rating as there was not an access for wheelchairs from the street.
