SCABIES!!! When you go to a rural house where you pay €100 a night, the last thing you expect is to leave it with Sarna. If you add to this that, for anything, you must go to another establishment, that the kitchen has been under construction for years (due to references from other users) and that, when reporting the problem to avoid further infections, the answer is: " Maybe you brought it from your house", and the explicit refusal to take sanitary measures in this regard, surely those days that you promised yourself would be calm and relaxing, will leave a bad taste in your mouth. We have reported it and we will certainly not return. Run in the opposite direction!!! What a character!!

A hotel that fits in with the fantastic environment that Santillana del Mar have. A unique well-preserved buildings from the 1400's, one experiences oneself been transported 600 years back in time. The hotel has a good standard, nice rooms, good bed status. Pleasant and helpful staff. It requires about 200 meterrs walk to reach the hotel. Crowing rooster can disrupt the morning sleep. Can be recommended.

My wife and I stayed here after being transferred from another B&B in Santillana, that we had to leave because of the bad beds. We arrived to this hotel and our first impression was how cosy it all were. Flowers in the garden, the beautiful "patio" on the side of the hotel, the smell of flowers and fresh coffee in the dining area, the hospitalituy of the staff and not to forget our big, big room with a small terraze with view over the city and the surroundings. The bathroom was big and looked beautiful, the jacuzzi was wonderful, the beds perfect and there was a wonderful atmosphere. At night we had bought some food and wine, and sat on the terraze to relax. It was very romantic, could not be better. All in all, this is maybe the nicest hotel experience I have had so far in my life. Viva España ;-)
