Comfortable hotel in lovely quiet setting some distance from Comillas centre. Rooms spacious with all mod cons and very comfy bed. Lovely view down to sea from balcony. Ample free parking, and pool very welcome on hot day. Breakfast was very good. We were on the DBB rate and the food on this rate was disappointing, certainly for the price. The choice was some very dry tasteless pasta, a tiny piece of fish or a chewy dry piece of cheap pork. Some Italians at the next table were eating off the a la carte menu, and it looked little better. No doubt there are some fine places to eat in Comillas, but they would require transport to reach.
