Hotel San Millan

The rating of the accommodation is because, for what this accommodation offers, we found it quite expensive. To begin with, it is far from the center of Santander; in fact, it is in another municipality, making it complicated to walk to the center. It has a cafeteria but does not serve meals. The receptionist, very kind, informed us about a place where we could go to eat, but when we arrived it was closed. The room was clean, but a bit outdated. We appreciate the gesture of being able to use the gym, but we did not have the opportunity. The availability of parking also helps a lot. Finally, what they call a “spa” is a pool with a waterfall, swan neck, sauna, and Turkish bath, which, when we entered, were not very well prepared, nor at the correct temperature. Perhaps because it was first thing in the morning, but we believe that is no excuse.

Clean, functional, and with free parking

Having a gym on the floor under the rooms with hours from 6:00 to 24:00 crazy, you heard non-stop banging, quite dirty and old-fashioned. The only good thing is the location.
