Gran Duque

We leave tomorrow and I cannot express enough how excited we are to leave, every aspect is terrible. The rooms are ok to be fair, pool is also fine. That’s about all I can say nicely. The food is awful, everywhere!! The couple of restaurants that are around are also very bad, but the food in the hotel itself is shocking, we have practically starved since we arrived last Friday, The staff can be so so rude unless your Spanish, then like someone else said in a review, the rules don’t apply to you, The kids aren’t aloud on the water slides because their “too small” but there was way smaller children who were flying down them because they were Spanish were fine, The smell of weed outside the hotel and coming up the hotel into our room multiple times, Another night we were sitting on a bench underneath the hotel and someone was standing on a balcony above us throwing down what seemed like balls of glass on top of us and smashing them all off the ground. There was constantly security at the door with batons and handcuffs, that speaks for itself, guards and ambulances constantly coming in and out because of how many people were sick from the food, including 5 out of the 8 of us. The pictures on love holidays is not atall what it seems, the area around is so run down, and if you walk around the back of the hotel it’s like a dead town, no life around atall until evening time. Not to mention the flies🤢 they are everywhere, landing all over your food every time you try to eat, or just constantly swatting them off your body. It’s just so run down and honestly we had a horrible horrible week here and would never return even if you paid us to come on holiday here. Please save your time and your money and book somewhere else.

Our stay since Saturday has been a total letdown. For an "ultra" package, the reality is a massive scam. Half the facilities are closed (sushi, rooftop, Dino Land), and the app provides zero information on working days and hours. The arcade/gaming area is a joke: half the games are broken, simulators are constantly full, there are barely any chairs, staff rush you out, and there are age restrictions. To top it off, staff mostly only speak Spanish and can't help you, some of the evening shows are so bad people walk out within 30 minutes, and basic customer service is non-existent. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place does not deliver what it sells!

Highly recommended hotel for families with children; at the buffet, they assisted us in the allergy area very kindly and with great consideration and patience. We would like to highlight Chef Armando and Pascual, and the server Nuria, who served us with great dedication and affection, making our stay unforgettable.
