PARADOR

The special charm of this Parador lies, in addition to the wonderfully renovated castle complex, in its tranquil size with only a few rooms. As a result, one can enjoy both the castle complex and breakfast (or dinner) in peace in the knights' hall. The welcome by the staff at the reception is very friendly and attentive! In the beautifully designed courtyard of the castle complex, one can eat or drink a little something in the shade. Our rooms offered spectacular views of the river and the fortress tower opposite. Breakfast consists of 3 parts: One part is served directly, one part is a small buffet, and one part can be ordered additionally. All dishes are very high-quality and delicious. Anyone who would like to try a special delicacy should order: Migas del pastor con huevo. The service is also very friendly and attentive at breakfast. In the evening at the restaurant, it is worth trying the palletia de cordero lechal and for dessert the Flor Manchega. We really enjoyed the stay and had a lot of fun! Our expectations were exceeded.

Wow wow wow !!!!! One of the most stunning castles that I have ever seen, is hidden in Spain. Parador de Alarcón is just amazing and to be able to have a room, in the tower section, for 2 nights, has been an incredible experience :) The staff here has been amazing and there's plenty of hiking areas around and wineries. But the history of this town is truly amazing !!!

Very renovated, comfortable, and the staff is very attentive and helpful. There are still some details to address, like removing so many rags from the rooms, using key cards for room access instead of those keys that weigh 300 grams, and improving accessibility to the reception, as there are two flights of stairs.
