Parador De Alarcon

The Parador was well signposted and there was a large car park in front of the building. Check in was quick and pleasant and we had two rooms overlooking the Torre de los Alarconcillos. The rooms were a great size and wifi worked well. The downsides were eating in Alarcon - even at 9PM the only restaurant we saw open was the Parador itself although that didn't start serving food until 8:30PM. The town was pretty with some beautiful walks along the gorge and we are already planning a longer stay, using the parador as a base to do some hiking. Breakfast was wonderful, a mix of buffet and cook to order. Overall the staff were great, the room was wonderful and the setting and views from the keep roof just awesome. A fantastic stay.

Poor; the food was quite average for a roadside inn. The waiters were unfriendly, as if they were doing you a favor; it's a shame in such a beautiful place like this....

A truly unique hotel. Added to the spectacular scenery of the castle and the natural landscape that surrounds it, is the wonderful renovation that has turned the tower and courtyard into rooms and common spaces in a cozy and crowded hotel. All this in a small town that treasures monumental wealth and unique natural spaces. One of the best Paradores in the network
