Stayed at the hotel with my grand-daughter in July hotel was a bit dated but was spotlessly clean ,nice large rooms and balcony overlooking the pool. The choice of food was great, enough choice to suit everyone and a large dining area . Plenty of staff so not too much queuing for drinks etc and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was ok usual hotel act's but mostly watchable .the hotel was about a 15 minute walk to shop's and another 10 minute's from there to the main shopping street so not too bad . There was a lot of stairs so if you have mobility issues definitely request a ground floor apartment. The pools were great but i think they could fit a lot more sun bed's in, a couple of day's by 9am they had all been taken which was a pity. Overall it was a nice clean hotel had everything you needed and was worth the money would recommend and would stay again.

We have just come back from a 7 night stay at Blue Sea as a family of 3.
It's a good location, less than a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach that is much quieter and prettier than the main town ones. It's only a 5 minute taxi ride if you do want to go into town. They hold a market on Sundays and Thursdays every week.
The rooms are basic and a bit dated but they're clean. The beds and especially pillows are really comfy! I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels as I'm so fussy about pillows but I slept perfectly here and they definitely have the best pillows I've come across!
We did have a problem for the first two nights due to no air con in our room and a broken toilet but we were moved to an upgraded area of the hotel which was really pretty, quiet and had aircon. There was also a pool that was right outside of our doorstep, and it was lovely and quiet all holiday. Having an 8 year old child meant having to go to the busier pools in the day though so we used the quieter pool in the evening.
The food was pretty good. It is a bit repetitive but then you're going to get that at any all inclusive resort. I struggled a bit because I'm gluten-free but I've found this to be an issue in a lot of European countries. So it's not hotel-specific.
The pools are brilliant. Cannot complain at all there! The only issue was people hogging sunbeds from the crack of dawn. Towels everywhere but not a person in sight. It was very frustrating and we did struggle a few days to get a sun lounger so had to sit on plastic chairs instead.
The entertainment was really good! Ruben was very friendly and inviting when running the daytime activities like pistol shooting and aqua aerobics but didn't push like you get in some places which can really put you off. He also ran some fun evening games and karaoke nights. He definitely made the entertainment more fun and interesting for everyone!
I would stay here again as my daughter loved it and had a great time.
