Blue Sea Puerto Caleta

READ THIS BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT SPENDING YOUR MONEY!! Please take my advice and do not book this accommodation. Spend a little extra and you will genuinely thank me. I had booked a one-week stay, but after just two nights I was forced to check out and book another hotel, costing me an additional £350. The condition of the room was completely unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with holes in the walls, dirty kitchen equipment, an unhygienic fridge, and ants crawling all over the worktops. The bathroom was no better with human hairs in the shower and shower doors that didn’t open. Sadly, it didn’t stop there — I even found ants in my bed. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches appearing at night, crawling across the floor, the hob and even around the breakfast area. The room was not fit for habitation, and the overall condition of the hotel was extremely disappointing. I reached the point where I had no choice but to pack my bags and check out at 5:30am because I could no longer stay there. This experience completely ruined the start of my holiday and cost me extra money to find somewhere clean and safe. Please think carefully before booking — paying a little more elsewhere will save you the stress, disappointment and expense I experienced.

Arrived at 9.30pm and receptionist was lovely and so helpful, yes rooms do need a new brighter coat of paint and maybe brighter curtains but other than that apartment did the job for all the time you spend in it. Staff are so friendly and helpful, pool spotless & sun loungers for all, pool bar excellent especially happy hour. As for location it is Brilliant so close to everything esp main town. All and All we had a lovely 2 weeks stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

DISAPPOINTMENT…….this is our 3rd visit to these apartments and we have always previously been satisfied, accept they are dated and not the ritz, but good value for money…….not this time as we’ve arrived late, struggled to get the key to work, bathroom door doesn’t shut and no power sockets, well there are 3 in the apartment, 1 for TV, 1 for microwave and 1 for landline phone so you have to decide what to unplug and prioritise charging……as reception is not manned we can’t speak to anyone, thought we’d found a gem but would think twice about coming back. Always found reviews to be a bit harsh, would seriously look elsewhere after experiencing this apartment 😢
