We stayed at this hotel in 2019 and were pleased so returned in 2020. However, we were somewhat disappointed - the restaurant was closed which required use of car in the evenings. The bar was closed at 8 p.m (7 p.m on one evening). There seems to have been staff cut backs even although the Coronavirus had not fully surfaced. Internet access is very poor and only possible in limited areas - mainly the reception - none in the rooms. No English TV channels. One evening we returned to our room to find all lights out in the internal courtyard making access to our room somewhat dangerous in pitch darkness. No Manager evident.

We stayed a week here and were most impressed by the lovely comfortable large rooms, the gorgeous garden and courtyards, and especially by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Valentina, Serena and Miriam were exceptional. Within a couple of days, we felt at home and very well looked after. Advice on local restaurants and services was accurate, especially about a brilliant restaurant, La Villa, 5 minutes walk up the road. Nothing was too much trouble. Really recommend it.
