Sol Jandia Mar

Amazing holiday, went with our 2 year old and other family members. What a beautiful clean hotel. The rooms are very big clean, cleaned every day. The staff are super friendly, have loads of entertainment on for the children in the day Including bouncy castles and inflatable slides in the pool and for the adults too, the evening entertainment was brilliant, the buffet was really good had a lot of options even for fussy eaters too and microwaves if you wanted to eat your food a little bit more which was a great touch. The pool bar was brilliant and all the staff was so kind and was happy to help. The lady on the front desk was amazing Saffa she was so understanding and helpful and helped us keep our room on on the day we was leaving because of our little one without hesitation she was so helpful couldn’t do more to help you. In our opinion this hotel is amazing, and a great great location.

A nightmare vacation. I should mention that I already knew this hotel chain because in April I had stayed at the Melia in Benidorm, where my family and I had a great time. However, at the Sol Melia Juble, everything was truly horrible. Upon arrival, the receptionist told us that he could not give us the booked junior suite because the bank transfer had not been received. So we showed him from the bank app that it had indeed been accounted for. Despite this, they insisted on payment with a debit card for two days, and as soon as we made it, the manager informed us that the transfer had just arrived. And despite having been refunded immediately 5 minutes later (see attached photo), in a very slippery manner and without apologizing, he claimed that the delay was due to our bank. Moreover, the room we were given was very far away, and it was a struggle to reach it from the pool and the restaurant. We had to take an uphill path, and regarding the food, we found it to be of low quality, with the same dishes served repeatedly, often stained plates, and in the first days, they insisted on cleaning the room at 8 in the morning, but later they came to clean it after 3 when we wanted to rest a bit. In short, a truly terrible experience for which the hotel is not worth more than three stars; I absolutely do not recommend it.

I would give this hotel an 8. I expected something much worse, but it meets the needs for a few days of rest very well. We stayed for 5 nights. Notable. The entertainment staff was the best. Front desk, José, very kind. We only had a small incident with a waitress at the bar and restaurant, Mrs. Osiris, who should be more helpful to the customers. This is a piece of advice. Overall, we liked it and might return.
