Hotel Risech

We have stayed in room 407, which is the cheapest type (they have rooms of different prices). We have only stayed one night. The best thing about the hotel is the kindness of the curly-haired receptionist and how central it is, facing the beach. They have a parking lot for 17€ per day 300 m from the hotel since it is impossible to park in Roses. To use the parking lot, leave it in writing when making the reservation since they have to reserve a spot for you. The facilities are old but everything is very clean, in that aspect very good. The size of the room is correct for a 2-star hotel, the bathroom is another story. The shower is so small that you cannot even move. The quality of the towels is fine and the soap is in a dispenser (very good, no more small gel bottles). The toilet flush kept getting stuck (I imagine due to limescale) and it was a bit annoying. A shelf under the sink would be needed to leave personal items. Non-existent soundproofing in the rooms and beds with uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. For 1 night it's okay, but for longer it is not. There is NO fridge in the room; in a beach location, it surprised me a lot. Varied and delicious breakfast, although I missed something hot like eggs or a ham and cheese sandwich. They allow smoking in the small interior garden, and the foul smell of tobacco enters the breakfast room. This should be checked.

In May 2026 I booked a night in August, at the end of July I received several emails from the hotel informing me that the hotel's site had been hacked as well as my contact details, and to remain very vigilant for any payment request, on August 04 at 10:30 a.m. the hotel asked me to pay by credit card by providing my card over the phone or by bank transfer before noon, the problem is that on their site it is impossible to pay and a transfer takes a minimum of 2 days, I asked to pay upon my arrival they refused and canceled my reservation, I do not recommend this hotel

The hotel is very centrally located and offers an ideal starting point for excursions and activities.
