La Pineda

Apartment very well located 100 m from the beach. Poor welcome, we had an appointment to collect the keys at 4 p.m. but the reception was closed and we searched (with 2 other couples) for almost 1/2 hour to find the keys!! The apartment is good, corner terrace but on the street side with a small view of the beach, no remote control for the air conditioning, hotplate does not work, no towels, toilet flush which does not flush the 1st shot, and the best of the best bedding: impossible to sleep on this mattress "so much shape memory" that it remains sunken as soon as you sit on it!!! Hello back pain!! ... Little details that annoy you while you're on vacation... Too bad because the location is very nice...

Definitely not worth it. The price you pay is excessive for the apartment they give you. The location is good but that is it. Inside the apartment everything was bad, broken wall, disgusting bath, rusty tap, horrible sofa bed, not clean (we found objects from previous people on the floor and everywhere!) etc. definitely not recommending it or coming back ever again!

We spent a week here in mid September and found the apartment to be adequate for our requirements. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Yes it could be noisy at times but it is a block of holiday apartments and that is to be expected. It is everything it says in the brochure although the photography does enhance the environment, however it is near the beach (and it is a really beautiful beach with plenty of facilities), a short walk into the centre, and a supermarket on the ground floor of the block which includes a bakers selling fresh bread and pastries as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. The swimming pool is at the rear of the building which means that you need to walk round the block to get to it passing between two restaurants so not an easy transition from apartment to pool and the access to the pool is not very clean although the pool and the pool area are very clean. Although there is a reception area in the block itself it was not manned during our stay but was located just a few minutes away. No problem for us once we understood what the instructions pinned to the door said as it was all in Spanish. All in all an enjoyable stay and the large balcony had lots of use by us all week.
