Mar Bella

I've been here last July with my friend. The room was not clean, the bed sheets were dirty and we couldn't sleep the first night. We arrived late so we couldn't ask to change them. We asked them the next day so they changed it and they put clean bed sheets. The room, and the bathroom, was old and not clean. We didn't feel confortable. What I liked was the location and the balcony it had, but I think I will not come back.

I stayed in this hotel with my family and it was all that we needed. It is by far a luxurious hotel but for what you pay for it, it is excellent! The rooms were very clean and the staff were more than helpful. Our meals were served at the sister hotel which is at most a minute walk around the corner. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were of a fair size. There is no lift or air con but for what you pay you cannot expect to have it! All in all a cheap and very cheerful stay and would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again!

We returned home on the 22nd Aug 2015 from a 7 night stay at the Mar Bella Hotel inTossa De Mar .The hotel is exactly as it says ,very basic more like a hostel but very clean . We really enjoyed our holiday in Tossa De Mar as it's a beautiful place . BUT do not waste you money on renting a safety deposit box . Half way through our holiday we seemed to be missing 80 euros but just thought we must have spent more than we thought but we made a note of what was left .On Saturday morning just before leaving we emptied out the safety deposit box to find we was another 140 euros an my husband credit card missing!! . Making a total of 220 euros an a credit card . We spoke to staff at the receptionion desk an they said there was only 1 key per safe ,so we must have let someone else have our key or left it open. This was not possible as to remove the key the box has to be in the closed position.we asked where the keys are kept an the young girl on the desk just bent down and got a tatty old cardboard box from an unlocked draw with a large number of keys in it ,where all could have access too .so very easy to have keys copied, in this day an age !The CC tv did not cover the area of the safety deposit box which was in the main foye accessible to any one. They said we could go to the police but due to time restraints this was not possible. A lovely holiday but not such a good ending.
