Very little entertainment for the kids, the buffet is very limited, the rooms are very old and poorly maintained, an elevator was out of order for several days, and you have to wait quite a while to use it; it deserves one less star.

The establishment deserves renovation, and the value for money is not really there. The pool and garden are nevertheless very pleasant. It's a shame that the mini-golf is in such a degraded state. Fortunately, the proximity to the beach (3 minutes on foot) is a real asset.

The hotel was clean enough and the housekeeping was very good. Fresh towels every day when requested and extras always given if asked for. The food was basic but fine, for a 4* our expectation was much higher. It was never bad but it was very much the same every lunch & dinner. The bar is a bit of a joke. The manager was very rude to our party as we didn’t understand their system; but the system is ridiculous. We were all inclusive, but you are only allowed one drink at a time. You need a card from reception (which we weren’t told about until our altercation with the bar manager) and you exchange this for one drink. When you want another drink you have to exchange it at the bar every time; so you can’t have a beer and a soft drink at the same time. If you lose your card or someone else takes your cup you have to fight to get another one. It is a crazy system. You are given a band on check-in too so the card system just seems ridiculous as you’re all inclusive anyway so what is the point? This system really detracted from our enjoyment and the treatment from the bar manager was some of the worst we’ve ever experienced in any hospitality setting. We were a group of 16 and were part of a larger group of over 150 people who were staying at the hotel to take part in a sports tournament - also being hosted by the hotel, so it’s not like they weren’t expecting us and hadn’t prepared accordingly for us being there! And since we couldn’t carry a drink card in our sports dresses we were consistently refused even cups of water at the bar, making it very difficult to enjoy playing in the heat. Overall we would not choose to stay here again as it really wasn’t a fun experience having to deal with that every time you want something at the bar, especially when you’re an all inclusive guest and therefore already pre-paid to access bar drinks! The bar staff could do with some lessons of respect and the bar manager really needs a lesson in acceptable behaviour to customers.
