Mas Vilalonga Petit

A real gem, hidden away in the countryside - and just a short hop from Girona airport. A great introduction to this part of Spain and we were checking in literally a half an hour after sitting into our hire car at the airport. From the initial welcome to the well appointed ground floor room - it doesn't take long to realise that this place is a little bit special. Our evening progressed with an aperitiv outdoors on the patio followed by a very pleasant dinner. An early morning dip in the pool followed by breakfast on the patio - what better way to start one's first day's exploration of the Costa Brava!

After two weeks of delightful travel, we arrived at Mas Vilalonga Petit. After just one night, I wanted to cancel the rest of our trip and just stay here. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly, helpful and top notch, and the everything beyond expectation. Fortunately, we were able to stay for a few nights which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Oh, and, there are horses! I can't wait to return. Thank you!
