Solineu Hotel

Made a reservation accidentally online, within 3 minutes of making the reservation I contacted the hotel asking them to cancel it as it was all wrong (dates and room time etc). They refused saying it was non refundable keeping all of my money.

Run down hotel next to closed down shops and restaurants. Paper thin walls, can hear the room's next door toilet habits. Housekeeping did not sweep bedroom floor or replace wet towels. Rubbish thrown out of windows and left on roof ledge in full view. 3x school trips there at the same time. The only good thing was the buffet breakfast.

We spent a weekend and never come back. We always stayed at another hotel in the area, but we were late to book and the only thing left was this hotel. The truth is that I do not understand the positive reviews; the room is very old. It was dirty, behind the bedside table a sock that was not ours and much dust. Dirty towels. The unpleasant staff and there is no soundproofing, you hear absolutely everything going on in the hotel at any time of night.
