AQUARIUM

A.great base to explore the local area. In the quieter part Fenals but 10 min walk to the madder strip if you want to. The Old Town is right on top of the strip so don't be confused if you are in a quiet authentic area then next minute partying with the 17 year olds 😉 😀 !! Fenals itself has plenty of bars and restaurants. We liked the ones on the beach especially. The hotel is very nice. Great buffet breakfast and we had half board with a great option to swap to lunch if you want to. Lots of nice foods to choose from and plenty. Wouldn't want all inclusive personally as food nice but repetitive and apparently you sre restricted with drinks choices. The rooms are pleasant and well kept. 3 euro daily for the safe - bit annoying but on a positive note our fridge was on to use freely - other reviews said there was a charge to have it switched on. Large room with plenty of storage and a nice bathroom. TV even had English channels BBC 1, ITV 1, Channel 5. Nice balcony with pool view but a bit strange as you overlook another hotel so a bit like you are all in a fishbowl!! Lots of nationalities so not over stuffed with brits bagging the sunbeds. We easily got beds between 9-10am. The blue sunbeds are not the most comfortable. There are some newer beds and deckchairs by the smaller pool.Big pool is fine. Smaller pool bit cleaner and quieter. Very much families and couples. Fenals beach 5-10 min walk away. Very nice but sunbeds and umbrellas 10 euros each so a bit pricey. Drinks and food at the hotel reasonably priced. 10 euro for a cocktail , 3 euro for a cava and 3 euro for a decent spainish bottled beer. Local bars and restaurants a bit cheaper. Evening entertainment quite low key and not that busy. Overall we had a very pleasant stay as a family with grown up children and I would stay here again.

Myself and my grandsin (11) had a lovely stay at GHT HOTEL AQUARIUM AND SPA. Its close to the beach, shops and bus stops if you want to venture out . Food was delicious and lots of variety. Lovely staff especially the waiting staff George and Alba. Our drinks were on the table ss we sat down Our room was clean and tidy, spacious and a nice shower. We had a good view of the pool from our balcony The pools were nice, clean and refreshing in the heat, we were in the pool nearest the spa all the time. I loved the current and jazzuci. My grandson had fun swimming underwater. Wasn't too crowded although you always get those who feel rules dont matter to them which was a shame but we didn't let it spoil our time. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to fome back next year.

Good facilities..charming staff....clean..very good mattresses and pillows.. very delicious and varied buffet...a success!!!!!!😊
