Perfect location with lovely views from the room (stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with balcony). Clean except for a few hairs in the bath tub, and a lot of water in the fridge (think someone turned it off and ice defrosted). Great breakfast selection, someone should just let the breakfast hostess know that smiling does not hurt… she was not the most welcoming person which left us with a little less of a great impression. But would stay here against we ever come back.

Hotel located in the center of Port de la Selva. For this reason it is difficult to find parking in high season. They have a paid parking service outside the hotel facilities or you can look around the area, although most of it is a blue zone. The room with a terrace and sea views is quite large, although it lacks curtains. Traveling with a baby in the middle of August without curtains and trying to get them to sleep is a problem. You can lower the blinds, but then you cannot have dinner on the terrace. The weak point is the breakfast. The quality is not bad, but the area where it is located looks neglected. The dining area is very beautiful with views of the port, but not the area where the food is located. Furthermore, the woman who seemed to be in charge of breakfast does not have a very good temperament. On the other hand, the reception staff was very friendly at all times. The La Timba restaurant, located in the same hotel, is very good.

The stay at the hotel was acceptable, although it did not correspond to the price paid. To top it off, just as we were leaving, we had a very big disappointment since we forgot some canned goods and other things of little value in one of the kitchen drawers, but even claiming it only an hour later and before they assigned the room again, it was impossible to recover them. It is not just the value of those things, but the fact that it makes me distrustful to think now that I have been leaving all my valuables in the room to go to the beach, etc., as is logical. It is also not clear to me that an adequate protocol is followed for forgotten items, as should be logical in this type of establishment. And what if I had forgotten documentation, an expensive garment, my phone...?
