Very bad experience. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. The location is catastrophic: the hotel is located right next to the Empuriabrava airfield. All day long, planes take off a few meters away, with incessant noise and a strong smell of kerosene, including when you try to enjoy the pool. Constantly, you also see skydivers landing, which completely removes the relaxing aspect of the stay. In the morning, we discovered that a spot for dump trucks was located right behind the pool. Result: smells of trash that make the moment very unpleasant. The rooms smell musty and the cleanliness frankly leaves something to be desired. The noise from the plumbing, the ventilation, and the walls so thin that you hear everything... zero rest. The first night, my spouse woke up covered in red bumps. We strongly suspect the presence of bed bugs. We asked to change rooms, which was done, but no real compensation was offered, other than the reimbursement of the medication we had to buy. Breakfast is also very disappointing: products that seem reheated, low quality, and uninteresting. Given the price paid, this experience was a huge disappointment. I will not return and I strongly advise against this establishment.
